The art, craft and meeting room at Nicholaston House is small adaptable space used for art, craft and small group meetings. The room is located toward the rear of the House with limited views of the Bryn.

Art and Craft Space/Resources

The art and craft space at Nicholaston House is a warm and welcoming space for creativity - suitable for both the inexperienced and seasoned artists alike.

Although the space is generally available for residential guests to access during their stay, it may also be possible for the space to be booked for one-off use by non-residential groups. The space comfortably seats 10 people for art/craft work and can be used for group work or for use on an individual basis.

Led themed craft activities are available on some retreats, aiming to provide an additional means of expression. The ethos aims to be a very relaxed, allowing for unhurried recreation and reflection.

Guests are very welcome to bring their own projects/materials for use during their residential stay at Nicholaston House, or use some of the basic stock available (donations welcome for such use):

  • papers (sketch and watercolour)
  • paints (acrylic and water colour)
  • brushes
  • card-making crafts
  • adhesives (non solvent)
  • collage-making materials

Please ask staff during your staff for access to the room and for any assistance required.

Small Group Meetings

The space is suitable for small meetings with space for up to 10-15 people (depending on room layout requirements).
