Healing Prayer School led by Revd Mike Endicott, Order of Jacob’s Well

...becoming a Kingdom walker

5 - 9 October 2020

Event Type: Retreat

Board Type: Full Board

Check In: 4 p.m. Monday

Check Out: 10 a.m. Friday

Led By: Revd Mike Endicott and Order of Jacob’s Well elders (https://www.jacobswell.org.uk)

Revd Mike Endicott and Order of Jacob’s Well elders talk Kingdom of God, having a rewarding prayer life for others and ministering to others around you.

Prayer is a multi-faceted description of what most of us think we need to do - seeing it as a ‘method’ rather than a living in the grace of Jesus Christ in which we stand, flowing from the one place that is clear and real - the cross. It is time for a new way forward for the church, a way which is neither about doing things in the ‘outside world’ nor doing things in the ‘inside church world’. These things often claim a great deal, but so often deliver little. Both of these aspects miss the fundamental reality of the source of life and energy, which is neither outside nor inside us. It is God’s healing of our seeing and experiencing in the Kingdom in and through the cross.

‘Prophetic Art Retreat’ with Bhari Long

'When Heaven Invades Earth'

17 - 23 October 2020

Event Type: Retreat/Course

Theme/Focus: Prophetic Art

Check In: 4 p.m. Saturday

Check Out: 10 a.m. Friday

This Prophetic Art Course and Retreat led by Bhari Long, author of ‘Artists and Artisans Awake!: Creativity and the Global Harvest’ is a hands-on opportunity to get in touch with the creative gift you were born with and be inspired to paint! Encounter God through the prophetic art exhibition of Bhari and her husband James, pioneers of prophetic art across the UK and overseas. Suitable for all skill levels and anyone creatively inclined, with exciting new options for those who’ve been before.

God loves to speak truth into our lives through images. Jesus Christ Himself used pictorial imagery as He taught. Draw close to Him and learn to trust Him to give you visual messages, both for yourself and others. Experience God speaking to you personally to bless and encourage you, and those he gives you a ‘word picture’ for. Learn to trust that He is speaking to you… for He has promised that if we ask for the Holy Spirit, He will give Him to us and lead us into all truth (Luke 11:13, John 16:13).

Be inspired by nature and the coast in this area of outstanding natural beauty. Be filled afresh and led by the Holy Spirit, as you experiment, experience and explore prophetic art. Learn how to pray and worship God creatively; how to interpret and use prophetic art both inside and outside the Church. Be inspired by the testimonies of how the Lord is using prophetic art to transform people’s lives. If you are here for a Retreat, feel free to dip in and out of the programme.

Materials to bring:

You will need to bring your pencil, pen, notebook, Holy Bible, journal, colouring pencils, set of fibre-tipped colours, A3 sketch pad, paintbrushes, pack of paper plates, jam jar, 1 litre empty ice-cream tub with lid and acrylic paints, A3 cartridge pad of paper and 3 x canvases (16” x 20” or similar). GOD'S House: The Story of Nicholaston House, by Derrick Hancock. The incredible story of a retreat house in one of Wales’ most spectacular beauty spots has been published.

‘God’s House’ is a detailed account of how Nicholaston House came into existence by the man who had the vision and was given instruction direct from God.

In 1990 God unmistakably led Sue and Derrick Hancock to Swansea to see a vision fulfilled which God had given them some years previously. The booklet (A5, 53 pages, colour) gives a brief factual account of what God did and is doing. It has been written for two reasons - to give glory to God and to show what very ordinary people can do when they step out in faith with God. 'All that we have accomplished, You have done for us' - Isaiah 26 v 12.
