GOD'S House: The Story of Nicholaston House, by Derrick Hancock. The incredible story of a retreat house in one of Wales’ most spectacular beauty spots has been published.

‘God’s House’ is a detailed account of how Nicholaston House came into existence by the man who had the vision and was given instruction direct from God.

In 1990 God unmistakably led Sue and Derrick Hancock to Swansea to see a vision fulfilled which God had given them some years previously. The booklet (A5, 53 pages, colour) gives a brief factual account of what God did and is doing. It has been written for two reasons - to give glory to God and to show what very ordinary people can do when they step out in faith with God. 'All that we have accomplished, You have done for us' - Isaiah 26 v 12.

Nicholaston House: Festive Fundraiser

The annual Nicholaston House Christmas Craft and Produce Fayre is now in its third consecutive year and is set to take place on Saturday, 17 November 2018 between 9am and 3pm.

Taking place at its Christian Retreat and Conference Centre on Gower, the event at Nicholaston House attracts people from all around for this one-off annual festive fundraising event.

With around twelve different stalls, offering a range of craft, produce and gifts, there is sure to be something for everyone. This year, local stonemason, Phillip, who built the Celtic Chapel at Nicholaston House in 2010, will once again be setting up a 'pop-up' workshop where he will create bespoke handcrafted gifts from stone.

The catering team at Nicholaston House will also be making freshly-prepared home-made festive light bites, which can be enjoyed in a ‘pop-up’ Christmas tea room that offers spectacular views of Oxwich Bay.

A truly festive event, with a variety of local produce and craft on sale. Free entry and car parking. Proceeds from this event are in support of the charitable work of Swansea City Mission and Educational Trust who run Nicholaston House.
