God continues to lead and bless the work at Nicholaston House through our core ministries, including: prayer ministry retreats, eating disorder recovery courses, quiet days and time out weekends. In addition to our own House-led ministry programme, we are blessed to host a number of themed retreats, which provide time for peace and relaxation in God’s presence, as well as allowing us to be open, challenged, encouraged and enriched in our walk with Him through daily devotional and worship times.

The House continues to welcome many different church groups for away days and residential conferences and retreats. With accommodation for up to 26 people on a shared basis, Nicholaston House is the perfect place for small church groups and gatherings to retreat and spend quality time together in beautiful natural surroundings within a short walk from Gower’s magnificent beaches and countryside. We also welcome many groups for day conferences, prayer meetings and quiet days, with a range of catering options to suit all needs.

The core team at Nicholaston House, supported by a number of dedicated volunteers and casual workers, provide a high-level of hospitality to guests and visitors throughout the year. We hope you can find time to visit us soon - you are sure to receive a very warm welcome.

GOD'S House: The Story of Nicholaston House, by Derrick Hancock. The incredible story of a retreat house in one of Wales’ most spectacular beauty spots has been published.

‘God’s House’ is a detailed account of how Nicholaston House came into existence by the man who had the vision and was given instruction direct from God.

In 1990 God unmistakably led Sue and Derrick Hancock to Swansea to see a vision fulfilled which God had given them some years previously. The booklet (A5, 53 pages, colour) gives a brief factual account of what God did and is doing. It has been written for two reasons - to give glory to God and to show what very ordinary people can do when they step out in faith with God. 'All that we have accomplished, You have done for us' - Isaiah 26 v 12.
