Prayer and Refreshing - Prayer Ministry Retreat (limited spaces)
Do you ever feel burdened and would like to share your concerns, both with God and also with a sympathetic human ear? Life can be hectic and timepressurised, but a few days at Nicholaston House may provide peace and tranquillity to explore God’s heart and direction. Prayer and Refreshing weeks provide you with an opportunity to do this. Daily devotions give time for worship and reflection. Additionally, as a prayer ministry guest, you will be assigned two prayer ministers and they will be available to spend around 90-minutes with you on each of the three full days of your stay.
Prayer Ministry is provided by a dedicated team who have all received training. Prayer ministry spaces are limited, so it is wise to make an early application. Apart from short, staff-led daily devotions and prayer ministry sessions there is no set programme, leaving plenty of free-time for you to enjoy the peace of the House and to explore the local area should you wish.
The purpose of Nicholaston House is to bring people to encounter with Jesus and engage with the heart of Father God (John 14:9) so they experience healing and freedom through the transforming power of the Holy Spirit (Isaiah 61). Our vision is to see all people encounter God's glory and be equipped to thrive and live life in all its fullness (Psalm 84:10; John 10:10).

‘God’s House’ is a detailed account of how Nicholaston House came into existence by the man who had the vision and was given instruction direct from God.
In 1990 God unmistakably led Sue and Derrick Hancock to Swansea to see a vision fulfilled which God had given them some years previously. The booklet (A5, 53 pages, colour) gives a brief factual account of what God did and is doing. It has been written for two reasons - to give glory to God and to show what very ordinary people can do when they step out in faith with God. 'All that we have accomplished, You have done for us' - Isaiah 26 v 12.
